For me, it was due to the fact that of my trainees.
Over the years of mentor in my personal knowing center, moms and dads would bring their children to me that lagged in reading and spelling.

In some cases they were just a little bit behind, often they were method behind, and in some cases they were at grade level and simply wanted to progress much faster.
Often this was because the trainees had discovering problems like dyslexia and ADHD. Other times, this was merely because the instructors did not teach all of the particular skills needed to check out.

The program does take some involvement from a parent for grades K-2, however for grades 3-8, most kids can do most activities in the program on their own.
