I wanted to share with you a bit about why we produced our summer season checking out program.
For me, it was due to the fact that of my students.

In some cases they were simply a bit behind, often they were way behind, and in some cases they were at grade level and just wanted to advance faster.
Often this was because the trainees had learning troubles like dyslexia and ADHD. Other times, this was merely since the teachers did not teach all of the particular abilities needed to check out.

The program does take some participation from a parent for grades K-2, however for grades 3-8, the majority of kids can do most activities in the program by themselves.
